Welcome to Mind your Body
Established over 130 years ago by the Australian actor F. M. Alexander, the Alexander Technique has been improving people’s lives ever since.
Our lives are full of movement, yet we are not born with a user manual that explains how we are built or how to move efficiently and with ease.
The Alexander Technique teaches you to move more consciously, with greater ease, freedom, and coordination.
Lessons in the Alexander Technique combine gentle hands-on work with dialogue.
After just a few lessons, you may already begin to notice improvements — whether on a physical, mental, or emotional level.
In the end, the goal is for you to become independent in applying the principles of the Alexander Technique in your own daily life, so that you no longer need me as a teacher.

On a personal note
The Alexander Technique has been life-changing for me.
At the beginning of my journey with the Alexander Technique, there was a great release of pain that I had suffered from in my neck, shoulders, and arms. Little by little, I gained a deeper understanding of the body and of how movement functions.
Later, I was surprised to discover that, alongside the physical benefits, I had also developed a clearer mindset, greater emotional balance and stability, better communication skills and relationships, while also gaining greater success in fulfilling my dreams and career goals.
I cannot exaggerate in praising the Alexander Technique and the positive changes it has brought into my life since I began practicing and living it in 2010.
I Quickly Became a Fan of AT
Fascinated by Alexander’s work and by the positive changes I observed in myself and my classmates, I decided to become a teacher myself. I went to study how to teach it in Bristol, UK, and later in Düsseldorf, Germany, with Irma Hesz.
As a musician, I experience the value of the Alexander Technique every day: greater ease while playing, practicing, and performing on stage; more lightness in everyday activities such as cooking or walking; improved physical and mental well-being; along with relief from pain and unnecessary tension.
These are only a few of the many benefits I experience through using the principles of the Alexander Technique as a way of life.
I wish for more people to have access to the Alexander Technique
MY DREAM
and to use its principles in everything they do.
I believe that if people thought more constructively, moved with greater ease, experienced more success in what they do, and lived in healthier bodies, our world would become a better place to live in.
Alexander’s Question That Began Everything
“Is it not fair, then,” I asked him, “to conclude that it was something I was doing in using my voice that was the cause of the trouble?”
— F. M. Alexander, The Use of the Self, p. 25 (1932)
With this question, F. M. Alexander began his own journey toward overcoming the vocal difficulties he faced as an actor. His success convinced him that he had discovered universal principles related to the unity of mind and body, and inspired him to teach others how to apply these principles in daily life.
I believe this question is a key question in our development as human beings. It invites us to take a closer look at our patterns of behavior and at the habitual ways in which we do things.
Could it be that something I am doing, in the way I use my body, is causing my problem?
If your answer to this question is “yes” — or even “perhaps” — then a lesson in the Alexander Technique may be an appropriate way to begin making a change.
